Terms of Service

Last updated: May 20, 2026

1. Who you're contracting with

BeaconPro ("BeaconPro", "we", "us") is operated by Jacob Thomson, a sole trader ("the Seller"). By creating an account or otherwise using the BeaconPro service ("the Service"), you enter into a binding agreement with Jacob Thomson on these terms.

2. Acceptance

By continuing to access or use the Service you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

3. The Service

BeaconPro is a SaaS tool for marketing agencies and freelancers that generates AI-assisted white-labeled audit reports covering Google Business Profile, SEO, and AI-search visibility for the accounts you connect or supply information about.

4. Account and credentials

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

5. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. This includes, but is not limited to: (a) any unlawful or fraudulent activity, including spam; (b) infringing any intellectual property, privacy, or other right of any person; (c) uploading malware or interfering with the security or integrity of the Service (including probing, scanning, scraping, or attempting to bypass technical limits); and (d) reselling or sublicensing access to the Service outside the scope of your subscription.

6. Generative AI content

The Service uses third-party AI models to generate parts of each report. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date and are provided for informational use only — they do not constitute professional, legal, financial, or marketing advice. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before sharing them with clients, for the prompts and inputs you submit, and for ensuring you have the right to use any data you submit. We may filter, refuse, or remove outputs and may suspend accounts that repeatedly attempt prohibited use (e.g. illegal content, harassment, deception, deepfakes, jailbreak attempts, or malware generation).

7. Intellectual property

We retain all right, title, and interest in the Service, including the BeaconPro software, design, documentation, and brand. Subject to these Terms and your payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service during your subscription. You retain ownership of the client data and content you submit and grant us a limited license to host and process it for the sole purpose of providing the Service.

8. Restrictions

You may not (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service; (b) resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service; or (c) circumvent any technical limit, quota, or access control.

9. Payment, subscriptions, taxes and refunds

Subscription fees, billing cycles, applicable taxes, cancellations, and refunds are handled by our reseller and Merchant of Record, Paddle. By purchasing a BeaconPro subscription you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms. See our Refund Policy for the refund window.

10. Merchant of Record disclosure

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

11. Service level and warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that outputs will be accurate or complete. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service for: material breach of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious violations of our acceptable use rules. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current billing period. On termination we may delete or anonymise your data after a reasonable export window.

13. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (such as for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence).

14. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim, loss, or expense arising from your submitted content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

15. Force majeure

We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, war, civil unrest, outages of upstream providers, or government action.

16. Assignment

You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the seller's place of residence, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protection law gives you a different forum.
